Legacy: The Life and Times of Vernon Jarrett
Vernon Jarrett, a pioneer who tackled the
daunting issues of race relations, politics, and community
transformation as a journalist and activist, died May 23, 2004. Months
before his death, Jarrett talked about his life and times in an
extended interview that appeared in the Spring 2004 edition of Context, a journal published by the Center for Communications and Community. It was his last extended interview.
